Discover. Grow. Belong. Thrive.
OUR PROGRAM
Individualized Residential Support
Estaugh Estates Discovery House is being developed as a non-secure, community-based children's residential program for adolescents age 13 and older.
The program is designed for young people who require out-of-home placement and whose needs can be safely supported within a structured, non-secure residential environment.
Our initial requested capacity of three residents reflects our commitment to maintaining a small setting where young people can receive individualized attention and develop consistent relationships with the adults supporting them.
What We Provide
Residential support is designed around each young person's individual strengths, needs, goals, service plan and transition objectives.
Services are expected to include:
24-hour residential supervision and support
Individualized service-plan implementation
Youth participation in planning and decision-making
Trauma-informed behavioral support and coaching
Safety planning
Education coordination and support
Independent-living and daily-living skill development
Family and community connection
Healthcare and behavioral-health service coordination
Recreation and community experiences
Self-advocacy and communication development
Permanency and transition planning
A Youth-Centered Approach
Young people are not defined by a diagnosis, behavior, placement history or difficult chapter in their lives.
Our role is to understand the whole young person—their strengths, interests, needs, relationships, goals and possibilities.
Residents are encouraged to participate meaningfully in decisions affecting their lives, identify personal goals, practice new skills and develop greater confidence in advocating for themselves.
